MARGAO: In another major burglary in Margao, a resident of Maddel, Alfred Manual Dias complained to the Margao police that on December 26 between 11.50 am and 1 pm unknown persons entered his flat by breaking the front door and decamped with gold ornaments and cash, all worth Rs 3 lakh.
The accused are believed to have ransacked the cupboard and committed theft of gold ornaments ~ 2 chains, 4 pendants, 4bangles, 4 earrings, one ear ring, 4 finger rings, a necklace set with two earrings, bracelets and cash of Rs 15,000 all worth Rs 3 lakh.
