Margao police register attempt to murder case

MARGAO, JAN 23  
Margao police has registered a case of attempt to murder following an assault incident at the station road late Wednesday night.
Margao PI Rajendra Prabhudesai informed that accused Rajshekar stabbed one Damu with a blunt object causing injuries on the neck and back.
He said that both the accused and victim, hailing from Karnataka, had some drinks at Moti Dongor, before coming to the station road, where the accused stabbed the victim.
A case under Section 307 of the IPC stands registered against the accused. Further investigations are on.
