Who says Matka survives only because of men folk? Women too are not far behind and they contribute to the success of flourishing matka agents in most areas.

Sources further informed that matka bets is so much flourishing in Canacona taluka that even during lean period when betting was suspended in rest of the State two months ago, bets were accepted in large scale all over Canacona taluka without much problem.
Matka agents in Canacona also gives service to other businessmen like vegetable vendors, shops and even roadside vendors by personally collecting the betting bids and if won, delivering the winning amount.
