VALPOI: The Melauli locals protesting the IIT project in Sattari Taluka on Monday feared that they would be arrested on Tuesday, as strong police force is scheduled to be sent to their village.
In a video message released on Monday night, the villagers have appealed people across the State to join them at Murmune village on Tuesday. The video is shot outside Jalmi Temple, Melauli.
One of the local said that more than 500 policemen would be sent to their village to arrest them so that they can be shifted out from there and land survey formalities are completed.
