A 30-year-old woman from Molloca-Merces died after a gas stove burst at her residence on January 18.
According to reports, Nisha Patil, a native of Karnataka, who was admitted to GMC at Bambolim due to burn injuries succumbed on Monday morning.
The incident occurred on Sunday at about 3.30 pm when Nisha was cooking food. Her husband, Maruti, escaped with minor injuries.
A case of unnatural death has been registered under Section 176 of CrPC Act by Old Goa Police.
