According to information, since the last few weeks, Meti has been under pressure as the other panch members were demanding his resignation on the completion of ten months term allotted to him by the panch members as per a mutual agreement to share the post. “As my panch members want me to leave the chair, I decided to vacate the same to avoid facing a no trust motion,” Meti told Herald.
