It may be recalled that MGP had earlier demanded 19 seats in the forthcoming ZP elections. Even as the deadlock is yet to be resolved, Dr Sawant said the demand is unreasonable.
“The demand of the MGP seems to be totally unreasonable, as in most of the parts BJP has strongholds and we can’t give these seats to other party. MGP could demand seats in constituencies where they have got their candidates elected during the last assembly elections,” Dr Sawant
asserted.
