MARGAO, JULY 4
A day after he was admitted in the ICU of Hospicio Hospital, former Minister, Mickky Pacheco is down with jaundice and his blood pressure is still high.
Hospicio doctors told newsmen that Pacheco has tested positive for jaundice on Sunday. A doctor informed that Pacheco had complained of yellow urine and tests conducted on Sunday only confirmed that he was suffering from jaundice.
The doctor declined to comment when the former minister will be discharged from the hospital, saying that his blood pressure is still on a higher side.“The question of the discharge will be decided by the doctors after his medical check up”, the doctor said.
Pacheco was admitted in the ICU unit of Hospicio Hospital after doctors who attended him said he was suffering from hypertension and urinary infection.
The Sessions Court had provisional remanded Pacheco to two days judicial custody. The custody period is getting over at 2.30 pm on Monday.
