Restricted water to Tiswadi

Water supply to most parts of Tiswadi taluka will be restricted on Monday, due to a major mechanical breakdown at the Opa Water treatment plant late Sunday night.
PWD officials told Herald that water supply will be restricted to Panjim city, Taleigao, Santa Cruz, Merces, Chimbel, Ribandar, Siridao, Bambolim, GMC Hospital, defence establishments and surrounding areas.
Work has been in progress since Sunday midnight as PWD authorities are hoping to restore water supply to the affected areas by Monday evening.
