PANJIM: The Directorate of Mines and Geology released Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for transportation of major minerals both within the State and the mineral transported from outside the State.
The department has made it mandatory for all the vehicles involved in transportation to be registered on Bhumija portal. All the vehicles must be fitted with GPS device and integrated with Bhumija, the SOP adds.
