BICHOLIM: Sour with the mining company in Bicholim for restarting the transportation of royalty paid ore without fulfilling their demands and that too during lockdown period, the workers have threatened to stop the ore transportation until their demands are met.

Addressing a press conference here, the members lamented that same company is adopting delaying tactics with regards to the issue of fulfilling the workers’ demands are concerned. The workers have demanded that the company release their full salary and also pay them arrears since 2014.
