CANACONA: A minor was seriously injured after he was stabbed by a foreign tourist at Agonda. The French tourist also attacked the victim’s parents.
According to the Canacona Police, the tourist identified as Younis Damani and Urmila Dessai of Agonda entered into a verbal fight over a dog. The accused pushed the woman down. Seeing this, her minor son rushed to help her but the accused allegedly stabbed him in the abdomen.
The foreigner then attacked Pravin Dessai, causing injury to his fingers. The foreigner also sustained head injuries.
All the injured were immediately rushed to the hospital while, the minor was shifted to the GMC for treatment. Pravin and his wife Urmila were later discharged after treatment.
Both the parties have filed counter complaints, said police.
