The body of one of the two persons feared drowned was fished out from the Galgibaga River on Thursday morning.
According to the fire services, the body of Mohan alias Gunesh Chari, who has reportedly slipped over a footpath near his house at Idhar-Poinguinim and fell into a rivulet, was noticed floating in the river.
It may be recalled that fire services personnel and lifeguards of Dhristhi at Galgibaga beach had been on the lookout for two persons from Poinguinim village reported to have been missing in two different incidents on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The search continues for the other missing Galgibaga resident, Patrick Barretto (35), who was feared drowned on Wednesday morning.
