MMC bans transportation of mud from Sonsodo
MARGAO: In a surprise development, Margao Municipal Chief Officer on Thursday directed Fomento to immediately stop transportation of mud from the Sonsodo waste dumping sit to outside the municipal jurisdiction. Mud from the Sonsodo is presently being used for filling fields at Nuvem to make way for the Nuvem bypass after the experiment with the industrial slag for road construction came a cropper.
