VASCO: Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) has initiated a drive towards minimising dark spots in the port town and councillors have started implementing innovative ideas to reduce these dark spots in their respective wards.
Certain spots in Vasco including areas near Mangoor junction have become garbage dumping sites, despite efforts to implement door to door garbage collection.
In one such attempt, councillor Saifullah Khan has managed to convert a dark spot into a public area with the help of a sponsor.
