MARGAO: The Returning officer received 2 nominations and a dummy application on the last day of filing of nominations to Ward 21 bye election of the Margao Municipal Council.
BJP’s Margao Development Front candidate Sucorina Fernandes and Sonali Kale of the Shadow Council filed their nomination papers on Wednesday.
The dummy application of Sucorina in the name of Benedicta Mascarenhas was also filed on Wednesday.
The Returning Officer Ajit Panchwadkar informed that a total number of 4 applications have been received. The application of Deepa Shirodkar was received earlier on Monday.
