Rohidas Zalmi’s house reconstructed by a Trust finally inaugurated

PONDA: It was a moment of joy for flood victim Rohidas Zalmi, a resident Murdi-Khandepar as his house reconstructed by Madhavrao Dhavalikar Trust was finally inaugurated by MGP leader Dr Ketan Bhatikar in presence of villagers and panchas.

As assured by MGP leader Sudin Dhavalikar and Dr Bhatikar, the house of Rohidas at Murdi -Khandepar has been rebuilt by Madhavrao Dhavalikar Trust. 

Expressing gratitude to the MGP leaders, Zalmi thanked the party on behalf of his family. 

It may be recalled that on July 23 several houses got flooded while some four mud houses collapsed at Murdi–Khandepar and Usgao Ganjem in Ponda taluka.

MGP leader Sudin Dhavalikar had inspected four houses and had assured these families which were rendered homeless of rebuilding their houses through Madhavrao Dhavalikar Trust and had accordingly laid the foundation for Zalmi’s house on auspicious occasion of Dussehra. 

Bhatikar also laid foundation stone for another house of flood victim Ankush Gaude at Murdi Khandepar and assured to complete it within two months. 

He also assured to reconstruct the two houses damaged in the area including the one at Khandepar Bazaar.
