Sankalp Amonkar, MLA of Mormugao, on Saturday launched the reconstruction work of a damaged sewer manhole and chambers near Busy Bee School at Desterro.
The initiative was undertaken to address long-standing concerns raised by residents and to ensure greater safety for school children and pedestrians who use the area ежедневно. The damaged sewer infrastructure had been causing inconvenience and posed potential hazards, particularly during peak school hours.
Speaking on the occasion, Amonkar assured locals that necessary measures are being taken to strengthen civic infrastructure and prevent similar issues in the future.
Residents welcomed the move and expressed hope that the reconstruction work would be completed within the stipulated time, bringing lasting relief to the neighbourhood.
