PANJIM: The Crime Branch (CB) on Saturday arrested Shledon Rohan Michael D’Slva, a Mumbai native and temporarily residing at Siolim with drugs worth Rs 50,000 during a raid.
The CB said that the alleged drug peddler was caught red-handed with MDMA weighing 4.17 gms and ecstasy weighing 5.98 gms from his possession.
He has been remanded in police custody for interrogation. Sources said the CB is inquiring whether he peddled drug into Goa from other States or purchased the contraband substance from Goa itself. “We are also investigating if he has supplied drugs during the recently held late night parties,” an officer said. This is the first drug raid in the State this year.
