In a Tuesday morning incident, a small aircraft belonging to the Myanmar Army crash-landed at Lengpui Airport in Mizoram. The plane, carrying 14 individuals, including the pilot, encountered difficulties during the landing phase.
According to the Director General of Police in Mizoram, six individuals sustained injuries, while the remaining eight emerged unharmed. Swift response and emergency measures were implemented, ensuring the injured were promptly transported to Lengpui Hospital for immediate medical attention.
Preliminary findings indicate that the mishap occurred during the landing process of the army plane. Authorities are actively engaged in an investigation to ascertain the root cause of the incident and ensure a comprehensive understanding of the events leading up to the crash.
