MAYEM: The Navelim gram sabha condemned the rape-death incident at New-Delhi.
A unanimous decision to punish the culprits involved in the rape-death case of a girl was taken during the recent special gram sabha.
Dr Aarti Dinkar, resource person for the special meeting, said women while living in the society should adopt some amount of discipline as it will ultimately help them to protect themselves from evil incidents.
Goa President of Akhil Bhartiya Stree Shakti Sanghatana Adv Swati Kerkar, Sarpanch Gopinath Gawas, Deputy Sarpanch Karuna Mahale, Panchas Swati Mainkar and Suman Gawas, Prof Sulakshana Sawant, Adv Deepesh Gawas, Khushali Naik and Deepak Naik were present on the occasion.
Earlier, Sarpanch Gopinath Gawas welcomed the gathering and informed about the motive behind the special gram sabha.
