MAPUSA: NCP on Wednesday alleged that the fact the BJP government is harassing local businessmen revealed after Tito’s director sold the club.
“Recardo sold Tito’s club because he was being harassed by administrative officials but unless the government or a minister issues an order, no official or administrative authority will take action against any establishments”, said Sanjay Barde, General Secretary of NCP.
Chief Minister and BJP State president should answer why a local had to sell out his business asked Barde.
“People who used to come to Goa for tourism are now running Goa and the locals are now tourists here and this is our tragedy. This is how a local industry comes to an end, which is very painful”, added Barde.
