PANJIM: The Nationalist Congress party, Goa unit, has condemned what they termed was a gruesome and shameful act of the alleged sexual assault of a seven year old girl in her school toilet.
“The Nationalist Congress Party condemns this shameful act which has brought a bad name to the image of Goa. The party also demands that security be given to every school and vigil be kept on suspicious movement of unauthorized persons,” NCP spokesperson Avinash Bhosle said in a statement.
“The Education Department along with the Home Department has to take serious cognizance of the incident and take remedial action to instill confidence back into the minds of the public, especially the parents of girl children,” Bhosle said.
