MAPUSA: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Wednesday demanded that the government conduct physical tests of police personnel at the earliest.
NCP general secretary Sanjay Barde accused the government of using the police recruitment as a “carrot” to lure the youth for the upcoming Assembly election.
“Looks like the Chief Minister stays outside India that he schedules the date of physical test for police recruitment in June. The government will now give excuse of monsoon to cancel the test”, Barde alleged.
