PANJIM: In a shocking incident, a Nepali girl working in a casino in Panjim committed suicide by hanging herself at her residential flat.

Panjim town police took the body into custody and later sent it to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim, for post-mortem.
The Nepali girl was 23 years old and a resident of Zarina Towers, near Siddhivinayak Temple, St Inez. She lived in a flat in the C wing of the complex, where she committed suicide.
The police on getting information at 12.30 pm regarding the incident rushed to the spot and upon arrival found that the girl committed suicide by hanging herself. The police gathered information regarding the incident from the neighbourhood.
