‘Never went to Tiracol since joining politics’

PANJIM: Environment Minister Alina Saldanha conceded that she hasn’t traveled to Tiracol since she joined politics three years ago.

The minister was taken aback when Opposition Leader Pratapsingh Rane questioned whether she has visited the proposed golf course site or Tiracol village during the Question Hour on Thursday.
“I visited during my school and college days, not recently after becoming the minister,” she admitted after pausing for a couple of seconds after the question.
