MARGAO: Margao MLA and Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat, along with Chairperson of Margao Municipality Lyndon Pereira on Saturday visited the New Market and assured the traders that issues will be resolved at the earliest.
In a joint visit to the market, MLA and MMC witnessed lots of unattended issues of the market. Grievances of the traders were also heard by the MLA and Chairperson, and assured to resolve it. Digambar noticed that gutters close to the markets were open and creating major hurdles to the customers.

Speaking to the media Digambar said that he noticed sheds of few shops were damaged due to the Cyclone Tauktae which needs to be replaced immediately.
