MAPUSA: Calangute police arrested a Nigerian for forging visa and overstaying in Goa.
Calangute police said that Udoka Stanley Iwala (32), presently residing at Khobrawado in Calangute, was arrested under Sections 468, 471, 420 of IPC, Section of 7 (1) (3) of Foreigners Order and Section 14 of Foreigners Act.
PI Jivba Dalvi informed that police received information from FRRO Panjim about the Nigerian. Accordingly, police traced the Nigerian to verify his passport and visa. On verification, it was revealed that the visa he was possessing was forged and the accused was illegally residing in Calangute without visa.
PSI Sitaram Malik is further investigation the case under supervision of PI Jivba Dalvi.
