MAPUSA: Maharashtra Gomantak Party (MGP) will not form an alliance with any National party for the coming Assembly election, said MGP leader Sudin Dhavalikar.

“Our goal is to defeat the national parties and send them out of Goa. MGP will not form alliance with any National party for coming Assembly election. We won’t mind alliances with regional parties who will work for development of Goa”, said the former PWD minister on Wednesday.

“Young people will be chosen as candidates. At present we are preparing to contest in 18 Constituencies but our target is to get 24 seats to form the government,” Dhavalikar said.

“BJP and Congress are both national parties who have done nothing for the State of Goa. All the developments that have taken place in the State are done by the MGP party and former CM Manohar Parrikar”, Dhavalikar claimed.
