Stating that it would make a representation to the Mapusa Municipal Council soon to immediately shift all vegetable and fruit vendors to the new vegetable market, the association has urged the MMC to prevent hawkers from occupying open spaces in the market. The MMA has also decided to launch its website on Feb 6.
Addressing the press at Mapusa on Wednesday, MMA chairperson Ashish Shirodkar stated that the MMA was established in 1985 and it would complete 30 years on February 6.

The MMA has also decided to launch ‘Swachh Bharat, Nital Goem’ in the municipal market.
