No LPG or Petrol Shortage in Goa, Assures CM Pramod Sawant; Confident of Ponda Bypoll Win

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has urged citizens not to panic over the availability of LPG and petrol, assuring that the state has sufficient supply of both essential commodities.

Addressing concerns amid reports of long queues at LPG agencies and petrol pumps, Sawant appealed to the public to avoid rushing for refills. He stated that the situation is under control and that a Union Minister is personally monitoring supply across regions.

The Chief Minister also called on citizens to report any LPG dealers found violating rules, warning of strict action against irregularities.

Meanwhile, speaking on the upcoming Ponda by-election, Sawant expressed confidence of victory. He added that the vacant ministerial position will be filled only after the bypoll results are declared.

The statements come at a time when concerns over fuel availability have been rising, with the government attempting to reassure the public and maintain normalcy.
