PANJIM: Goa University (GU) has dropped winter vacation for academic year 2020-21 for all under graduation programmes.
GU has informed that the first term of new academic year will be from September 1 to November 30 while exams for first term will be held between December 4 and 23.
“First term of new academic year will be from September 1 to November 30. Exams for 1st term will be held between December 4 and 23, 2020,” states the GU circular.
It further states that the 2nd term for academic year 2020-21 will commence from January 4, 2021 to May 13, 2021. Exams for 2nd term will be held between May 3, 2021 and June 19, 2021.
The colleges, affiliated to Goa University, will commence classes for new academic year 2020-21 from September 1 via online mode.
The educational institutions in the State are shut since mid-March in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
