Over 25 clubs and 250 youth took part in the event and presented cultural programmes, including folk dances of Goa. The youth club leaders were felicitated and all 25 clubs were given sports kits by the NYK.
Speaking on the occasion, South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar said, “The country, if it has to go ahead, will require the effort and participation of the youth.”
If the youth are positive, the country will definitely go ahead.”
Prakash Arjun Velip thanked NYK for its contribution to making the youth good citizens and appealed to the youth to keep working for the society through such conventions and activities.
