MARGAO: South Goa additional Sessions court has acquitted Supriyano Rodrigues, 62, a resident of Dramapur-Navelim, who was charged for attempted murder of John Sertorio Barreto of Sinquetim-Navelim.
The prosecution examined six witnesses who all turned hostile during examination.
It was the case of the prosecution that Rodrigues assaulted Barreto on September 29, 2010, at John Bar and Restaurant, Ballem-Navelim, with a broken bottle on his stomach, in an attempt to murder him.
