MARGAO: Four unknown persons including a driver travelling in a car armed with weapons assaulted Mahindra Gounder, 24 of Azad Nagar, Calconda, a native of Bengaluru and fled from the spot.
The incident took place near Colva church on Monday afternoon.
Colva PI Filomena Costa said that based on a complaint filed by Gounder, an offence under section 324 read with 34 of IPC has been registered against the assailants.
