One held for kidnap, rape of minor girl

MARGAO, AUG 8
The Margao police have arrested a 20-year old youngster from Davorlim for kidnapping and rape of a minor girl last night.
The arrest follows a complaint received from the father of the victim girl stating that the accused Amin Shaikh kidnapped her 16-year old daughter to Colva.
The police have arrested the accused and has referred the girl for medical examination in the Goa Medical College and hospital, Bambolim.
The accused has been arrested for kidnapping, rape and under the Goa Children’s Act. PSI Mohan Gawde is investigating the case.
