One held for making fake Aadhar cards

PANJIM: Old Goa police have arrested one Amit Sarju Jaiswal from Moloca in Merces for allegedly making fake Aadhar cards and other documents.
According to PI Jivba Dalvi, a complaint was filed by Inayath Khan, a resident of Corlim in Tiswadi that he was induced by the accused person in March 2019 to pay Rs 15,000 to make an Aadhar card in the name of the complainant. However, till date the accused had not provided the Aadhar card. 
Police raided the residence of the accused and found fake bona fide school certificates along with three different Aadhar cards belonging to the accused person with three different addresses. Police also found three other Aadhar cards belonging to some other persons which prima facie appear fake. 
Police seized the CPU of the computer used to prepare fake certificates. Police is investigating whether the seized Aadhar cards were submitted to any government or private institutions or company to obtain other original documents.  
Police informed that interrogation is on as it appears that fake Aadhar cards have been provided to numerous people by the accused.
PI Dalvi informed that he has written to the Executive Officer of Goa Electronics Ltd seeking information on the seized Aadhar cards such as changes in identity, numbers, addresses, etc. 
Police have obtained 5 days police custody of the accused and the investigation is conducted by PSI Shivram Gauns under the supervision of PI Jivba Dalvi.
