PONDA: Ponda Police arrested truck driver Imran Sab Hawaldar from Vasco for transporting sand without required documents and the sand laden truck was also seized while he was proceeding from Ponda to Vasco.
The truck was intercepted at Bethora junction.
In another case, police arrested Vishal Kalangutkar, a resident of Shiroda, in connection with possession of ganja worth around Rs 14,000. Police seized the 105 grams ganja from him at Shiroda. The accused was later released on bail.
