PANJIM: Crime Branch sleuths conducted a raid at IDC, Cuncolim and arrested five persons while playing online betting games.
The accused Rohit Mangal Sahu, Ashif Khan residents of Cuncolim, Kevin Rebello, Sanif Carvalho and Jovis Oliveira, residents of Ambaulim Quepem were arrested for playing online betting game known as Fun Target application based from Mumbai operated GAME KING.

The team seized Rs 30,100, two laptops, one inbuilt CPU Computer and other articles used for online gambling, all worth Rs 5 lakh.
During enquiry, it was learnt that the business establishment was run by Pritesh Dessai from Cuncolim. Desai is currently absconding and further investigation conducted by Head Constable Dinesh Pikulkar under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) Raju Raut Desai.
