PANJIM: All stakeholders in the State involved with the business of pulses, be it importers, millers, dealers of wholesale traders, have been asked to register themselves on an online portal that has been launched by the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
This portal has been created to capture the pulse stocks lying with the stakeholders and help assess the total quantity of stocks available in the State/Country at any given time.
The State government will be able to access the data through reports once data starts getting in.
The stock holders have been directed to register themselves in the said portal by a simple registration process and create user ID and password. In case of any difficulty in uploading the data on the portal, they may approach the Department of Civil Supplies.
