BICHOLIM: Bicholim Police on Friday arrested a 19-year-old boy from Muslimwada, Bicholim in connection with raping a 15-year-old girl from Bicholim area.

The fact came to light through Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim sources to the police.
According to Bicholim Police, they received a wireless message that a 15-year-old girl from Bicholim area was pregnant. Following the call, the police swung into action and started an investigation.
The police also interrogated the victim after her mother lodged a complaint at the Bicholim Police Station. During interrogation, the girl revealed the name of the suspect youth.
The suspect was arrested who confessed that he had sexually abused the girl six or seven months ago.PSI Manisha Padnekar is investigating the case under guidance of PI Mahesh Gadekar.
