MARGAO: Only eight members of the Margao Municipal Council came to discuss the Land Use Map with officials of Turbo Sketch who spent the entire Friday in the councillor’s room at the council building.
Not marking of roads and religious places was the common objection from the eight councillors and Turbo Sketch officials have made note of it and will incorporate the changes in the map.
Two officials of the company spent the entire day in the council building attending to the councillors and also some members of the public.
Vice Chairperson Tito Cardoso said that the council will submit its objections to the South Goa Planning and Development Authority by April 24.
On Thursday, when Ashok D’Costa of Turbo Sketch was called to explain to the councillors the Land Use Map, only 13 of the 25 councillors were present for the session.
