MARGAO: Fatorda Police have registered a case of kidnapping against a boy from Orissa for eloping with his girlfriend who, however, is a minor.
Fatorda Police Inspector Kapil Nayak disclosed that the girl would have completed 18 years on December 29, but she eloped 10 days earlier on December 19.
“While the boy is from Orissa, the girl is from Fatorda,” he disclosed.
Police are looking out for the two as the case amounts to kidnapping a minor girl.
