PONDA: A 34-year-old man from Mardol was arrested on charges of outraging modesty and confining a 37-year-old woman in a hotel room for two days in Marcel.
According to Ponda Police, the victim in her complaint accused Amar Prabhu of outraging her modesty and confining her in a hotel room at Marcel on July 18 and 19.
The complainant further stated that the accused also assaulted her. The accused has been remanded to one-day police custody and PSI Mohan Gaude is investigating the case.
