Siddharth Kuncalienker (BJP), Surendra Furtado (Congress) and two independents Sameer Kelekar and Sadananad Vaigankar are in the fray.
Voting at the 30 polling booths in 22 locations will start at 8 am and close at 6 pm. A total of 10,722 male and 11,335 female voters are eligible to cast their votes at the by-polls.
In addition to the EPIC card, alternative photo identity documents such as passport, driving license, PAN card, passbooks with photograph issued by bank/post office, MNREGA job card, pension document with photograph, or an authenticated photo voter slip issued by the election machinery can be produced as proof of identity while voting.

Election Voting Machines (EVMs) will be stored at the Entertainment Society of Goa complex after the elections till the time of counting and will be guarded by the Indian Reserve Battalion and Central Industrial Security Force. Counting will take place on February 16, beginning at 8 am.
