The funeral rites of Fr Clifton Fernandes will take place at Our Lady of Piety Chapel, Panzorcone, Cuncolim on February 8 at 3.30 pm. The parish priest of Our Lady of Snows, Raia FrJanuarioDcosta,Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Rony Fernandes and the Associations & Executive Committees of the church paid respect to Fr Clifton’s remains. The parishioners of Raia will offer mass at 3:30 pm on Tuesday for Fr Clifton. 47-year-old Fr Clifton Fernandes who was a diocesan priest on the staff at Our Lady of Snows Church Raia died on Saturday evening.
The parishioners, the Parish Pastoral Council, Confraria do SSMO Sacramento da Igreja de Raia, the Fabrica da Igreja de Raia, the Catechetical Association of Raia, The Parish Youth Association, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Padr Minguel confraria, the Legion of Mary and the Liturgical Ministers condoled the death of Fr Clifton and paid their final respects.
