MARGAO: A 20-year-old resident of Gudi, Paroda died after ramming his vehicle into a cow along the Chandor-Gudi road at Sao Jose de Areal at around 10:40 pm on Tuesday.
According to police, Jesus Simon Pereira was killed in a self accident last night when he rammed his vehicle into a cow on the Chandor-Gudi road at Sao Jose de Areal at around 10:40 pm. He was returning home after collecting some food items from a restaurant at Chandor.
He succumbed to head injuries sustained in the accident. The cow was also killed in the accident. The Sao Jose de Areal panchayat is awaiting a letter authorising it to dispose the cow carcass as nobody turned up to claim its ownership.
