MARGAO: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday inaugurated the office of Alcoholics Anonymous in the old South Goa district Collectorate building, even as he said that the NGO is helping the society to come out of alcoholism and save people from committing suicides.
Inaugurating the office, the chief minister showered praises on the work carried out by AA, pegging the number of deaths due to liver cirrhosis in Goa to 1500 per annum.
