PANJIM: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has again demanded Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s resignation in the wake of the present crisis owing to his health. The party has also demanded that the government disclose the expenses on the CM’s treatment claiming it is ‘public money’.
“The government should be dissolved. There is no CM and the BJP is not able to sustain the coalition government. We demand that Parrikar resign and State gets a new CM,” NCP general secretary Sanjay Barde said on Saturday.
Questioning government why it is not issuing a health bulletin, the party said that its leaders wish to visit the CM with permission from the authorities.
