Pedestrian succumbs to injuries in road accident at Dabolim

Vasco Traffic Cell PI Shailesh Narvekar said that the two-wheeler rider had been fined on many occasions for rash and negligent driving.

PANJIM: A pedestrian who was seriously injured near Dabolim junction succumbed to his injuries at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim on Monday.

The police gave the name of the victim as Liladwaj Khadka, 35, a security guard hailing from Nepal and currently residing at Vasco. The mishap occurred when Khadka was crossing the road near Dabolim junction and was knocked down a speeding two-wheeler rider Sonu Ranvijay Prasad Sai, who was proceeding from Dabolim to Verna.
